Chris West is a dynamic and versatile musician with deep roots in the New England music scene. Having picked up music in grade school, Chris has been crafting his sound and honing his performance chops from an early age. His musical journey began in high school with the formation of his first punk rock band, where raw energy and DIY ethos set the stage for what would become a lifelong passion for music.

As his tastes expanded, Chris was drawn to the infectious grooves of ska, funk, and jazz. This led to the creation of Skaliosis, a high-energy ska band that quickly made a name for itself by opening for national acts like Big D and the Kids Table and Reel Big Fish, while playing venues across New England.

Never one to stay in one lane, Chris evolved once again—this time diving into the worlds of funk and progressive rock. He took on guitar, bass and lead vocals in SEED, a groove-heavy, genre-blending band that made waves across the regional festival circuit. With performances at fan-favorite festivals like StrangeCreek, Wormtown, and Midsummer Meltdown, SEED built a devoted following and released their album "Taking Root", showcasing their musical depth and originality. The band continued to perform and create music together for nearly a decade.

Today, Chris West brings unmatched energy and experience to every stage. Whether it’s a laid-back acoustic set, a funky dance party, or a full-on rock show, he seamlessly blends a wide range of genres and styles to suit any audience. With an extensive repertoire of cover songs and a growing catalog of catchy originals, Chris's main focus is delivering the perfect sound for your event—whatever that may be.
